Since its informal inception in 1991, and formal designation in 2009 as a 501(c)(3) exempt (tax deductible) non-profit organization, the CDTOA Scholarship Fund has helped hundreds of deserving students pay for their post high school educational pursuits. This is the first of a series of articles highlighting former scholarship winners and where they are at in their current careers. This has all been made possible due to the generous donations of our members and affiliates over the years. Tera Gallegos Tera is the granddaughter of Charlie (deceased) and Theresa (Tessi) Long of Napa. Not only were her grandparents in the dump truck business, her parents Gil and Kinnie Gallegos are both currently owner-operates. She enrolled in St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. majoring in Business Administration and Marketing, with a minor in Psychology. She was also able to study abroad and traveled to China, Australia and Mexico. During the summer of 2007, Tera was offered an internship with Clorox. Upon her graduation from St. Mary’s in 2008, with a degree in Business, Tera was hired by Clorox as a Senior Sales Analyst, specializing in Green Works and Clorox 2.
