HOW
TO QUALIFY
The student must be a direct relative of a
member/affiliate member or their employees (son or daughter, grandson or
granddaughter). The student will need a letter of recommendation from the
direct relative of that CDTOA member or affiliate. They will also need to
have graduated with a minimum 3.0 GPA (out of 4.0), be
a graduate of a California state high school or equivalent program,
they must also submit an essay about themselves (200 words or less), and
an application, along with transcripts.
Note:
Certain elements which cannot be met under these Qualification Guidelines
may be reviewed by the scholarship committee.
Eligible students should be enrolled in a Junior College or a University,
carry an average of (12) units per semester and maintain a minimum (3.0)
grade average for further award considerations.

TO GET STARTED
Students interested in applying for this Scholarship
could download the applications With in the Application & forms page
on this site or call the office (909) 982-9898 and request an application. Scholarship applications will be accepted
throughout the year.
- Incoming Freshman
applications must be postmarked no later than March 31st.
- Continuing Freshman,
Sophomore and Junior applications must be postmarked no later than July
31st.
Freshman applications will be
evaluated in April.
Continuing student applications will be evaluated
in August.
The winners will be notified by the office and their names
will be published in the CTN magazine and www.cdtoa.org/scholarship. |
