After completing high school, there was no doubt in Kristen’s mind that working with children was what she intended to do with the rest of her life. She has always had a passion for teaching children. This major does not only focus on young children, but adolescents, teen parents and the stresses of working in this field. During this last Spring, Kristen began her internship and was hired as a Summer teacher. Her work experience has helped her learn more about children, how to work with them and how to work with staff and parents of the children.
