The October Meeting was a night of food and fun, which was hosted at the new Sacramento Kenworth Dealership just completed in Sacramento. Dinner was provided by the Chapter and in attendance was Betty Plowman, CDTOA’s Northern Membership Services Director. A complete tour of the facilities by Tom Bertolino, the dealer’s principal officer, WOW – what a place!

Tom introduced us to the sales, parts, and service managers and walked the chapter through all of the 40,000 square foot building on over six acres. The parts department and service facilities are State of the art. Our thanks to Tom Bertolino and Harry Mamizuka owners of Sacramento Kenworth for hosting our meeting.

Tom stated to our chapter, that as part of Kenworth’s nearly 300 Dealers in the U.S and Canada Sacramento Kenworth and it’s employees, are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations and being the best transportation solution provider possible for our customers. “We made a significant investment in making the move from our former facility, enabling us to double our service department capability and expand the parts department to further enhance our ability to take care of our customers’ transportation needs.” Sales Manager Jeff Parietti showed off a new Kenworth Dump Truck sold to TEICHERT Construction. Thanks to all who attended and after a great report on the Board Meeting in Anaheim by Betty Plowman, our meeting called to order for business at hand by Barbara Smith, Chapter Chairperson.“Together we make a difference”.
