To all members,

we have received a variety of comments and questions concerning Reliance Trailer’s recent financial hardships; many members with Reliance trailers and bodies were worrying about Reliance warranty parts and service availability. We haven’t been contacted by Reliance Trailer yet but Superior Trailer’s owner (a CDTOA affiliate) Jay Pocock said that he can service all Reliance as well as his Superior clients. He asked me to forward this information to our members.

See attached documents here.

I recently read that Redwood Reliance shut down after Judge Alan Jaroslovsky converted the case from Chapter 11 reorganization to Chapter 7 liquidation in late October. Reliance Trailer, which moved from Cotati to Spokane, Wash., in 2003, is still operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection. I was told by a member that Reliance is requiring past customers to resubmit credit applications to the business in Spokane if they are interested in buying parts.
