California Construction Trucking Association (CCTA)

Yes, it is official; the Association’s name is changing to the California Construction Trucking Assoc., (CCTA). We decided to create an interim logo which looks like the old CDTOA logo with the new name. We have added a variety of construction trucks and equipment as line art around the logo to show the diversity of diesel-powered trucks that work on a typical heavy construction job site.

Under this reorganization, all the subtypes of construction-related vehicles would have a conference and the name CDTOA would remain in use for the Dump Truck Conference.

Along with the new CCTA acronym, we will be using the name “CalConTrk.org/net/com” as our new domain and email shortcut for the web and staff email.

We will be working with Brooks and his staff to make this all happen as quickly as possible with our official rollout date now. Make sure to tell all your industry friends! (See press release on page 7, CTN Dec 2011)
