Over the last few days, CARB has issued two Regulatory Advisories and a letter relating to the suspension of sales and the remedial actions for the Cleaire LongMile and AllMetal systems. Attached are copies of the advisories and the letter - • Replacement of AllMetal and LongMile Diesel Particulate Filters with Cleaire Modules • Particulate Matter Filters (PM Filters) That Must be Replaced or for Which Sales have Been Suspended • October 11, 2011 Letter re: Administrative Clarifications for Incentive Programs: Diesel Particulate Filters that must be Replaced or for Which Sales have Been Suspended by the Manufacturer CIAQC is continuing to track this situation and will keep you posted of any new information as it develops. The attached advisory MSCD 11-29 mentions that in addition to the suspended selling and installing of the referenced Cleaire systems that other retrofit manufactures have suspended sales of some verified diesel PM filters.
